Optical Diagnostics:

At the heart of experimental research can be the need to image phenomena is unusual places or as they change in time. Below is a Blue Specter proof of concept for imaging slower speed phenomena with three color light, in a way to record three images separated in time on a single film frame or sensor sampling event.

Proof of concept, three color image of bubbles rising in a column of water. A single bubble is imaged first in red, then green and finally blue with each color image being separated by a known time difference. Further image processing will reveal both speed and rate of change of shape of the bubble.
